Christmas Crack is a deliciously rich and absolutely fun recipe to make. The saltine crackers create an excellent base for this recipe.
There are only four layers: a saltine cracker base, then toffee, then chocolate, then M&M's.

Steps to make this recipe:
- First, preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
- Line a half-sheet baking sheet with foil, followed by parchment paper.
- Then line your parchment paper with the saltine crackers. You may need to cut some of the crackers in half to fill the entire cookie sheet.
- In a saucepan, heat to medium heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, whisk in the brown sugar.
- Continue to whisk frequently until the mixture thicks, about 2-3 minutes. Once the mixture has thickened, remove it from the heat.
- Pour the mixture over the crackers spreading evenly as possible.
- Place the cookie sheet in the oven for approximately 5 minutes or until the mixture begins to harden.
- Once removed from the oven, evenly spread the semi-sweets over the crackers.
- Place the cookie sheet back into the oven for approximately two or three minutes or until they begin to melt.
- Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and spread the chocolate evenly over the crackers.
- Allow the chocolate to cool for approximately five minutes, then evenly spread the M&M's over the chocolate.
- Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to continue to allow the chocolate to cool and harden.
- Remove from the refrigerator and serve!
