Cookies and Cream Ice Cream aka Oreo Ice Cream is a classic flavor. And you can make this delicious soft-serve ice cream right at home with just a mason jar and a few simple ingredients. Simply mix the ingredients together, shake and freeze!

Ingredients to make the Ice Cream:
Ice Cream
Heavy cream
Granulated sugar
Vanilla extract
Salt
Oreos - broken into pieces
Whipped cream
Heavy cream
Powdered sugar
Vanilla extract
Steps to make the Mason Jar Ice Cream:
Prepare the Ice Cream:
- In a large (16 oz) mason jar, combine the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and crushed Oreos.
- Place the lid on the jar and shake the mixture for approximately 3 minutes.
- Place the jar in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
Prepare the whipped cream:
- Using a hand or stand mixer, mix the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Pipe the whipped cream onto the ice cream as desired.
You can also add extra Oreo on top of the whipped cream (as pictured above). I really enjoyed the addition of the crushed Oreo pieces in the whipped cream.
The ice cream can be kept in the freezer for up to three months!

- 1 c whipping cream

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions
- Prepare the Ice Cream:

- To make the Whipped cream:
- Using a hand or stand mixer, mix the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Pipe the whipped cream onto the ice cream as desired once the ice cream has solidified.
- Serve and enjoy!
