Praline Caramel Apples are delicious Granny Smith apples dipped in
caramel sauce and sprinkled with crushed praline pecans!

These praline caramel apples were made with canned praline pecans.
And the caramel sauce? Store-bought as well. It's actually an old-fashioned caramel dip.
If you don't tell your friends and family they will never know because we are only using quality ingredients for this recipe.

Ingredients needed to make the apples:
- 4 Granny Smith Apples
- Container of caramel sauce or Homemade Caramel
- Can of praline pecans
- Parchment paper
Steps to make the recipe:
- Dip the apples into the hot water to remove excess wax on the apples.
- Rub vigorously to remove the wax from the apples.
- Remove the stems from the apples and insert the apple sticks into the apples.
- In a food processor, pulse the pecans into small pieces.
- Pour the caramel sauce into a medium-sized bowl and heat in the microwave. (Long enough to loosen the caramel sauce.)
- Dip the apples in the caramel sauce and evenly coat them.
- Sprinkle pecans over apples until they are completely covered.
- Place the apples on parchment paper.
- The apples can be eaten right away or once they have firmed, store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat them.
You can store the apples in the refrigerator for a few days as long as they are kept tightly wrapped.
They can also be wrapped with saran wrap or placed in a container or zip-lock bag.
Although Granny Smith apples were used for this recipe, you can also make the recipe using Red Delicious apples or any other kind of apple that you feel will pair well with the praline and apple flavors.
