Red velvet brownies and cheesecake swirled together and
baked to create these decadent Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies.

Brownies are delicious on their own, but adding cheesecake takes these brownies over the top.
We made this beautiful swirl on top of the brownies to make them nice and elegant to make them special for love day.
Nothing makes a person feel more special that a delicious treat, especially one that is homemade.
So let's get into this recipe so I can show you how it's done!

Ingredients needed to make the brownies:
For the brownie layer- you will need:
- ¾ c of all-purpose flour
- 2 large whole eggs
- ½ c of unsalted butter
- ½ c of brown sugar
- ½ c of granulated sugar
- 1 c of semi sweets
- ½ c of cocoa
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1-2 tbsps of red food coloring
- ¾ teaspoon of white vinegar

For the cheesecake layer- you will need:
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- ¼ c of granulated sugar
- 1 large whole egg
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla

Steps to make the Brownies:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Make the brownie layer first by placing the butter and semi-sweets in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30- second intervals until melted. Stir together after each interval.
Add ½ c of brown sugar and ½ c of granulated sugar to the bowl and mix until blended. Mix the cocoa into the batter until blended.
Add the vanilla, vinegar, and eggs to the bowl and mix well. Then add the food coloring and mix.

Next, stir in the flour until it's fully incorporated. Spray 8×8 baking pan with nonstick spray. Reserve ⅓ c of brownie batter and pour the remainder into the prepared pan.
Make the cheesecake swirl: Using a hand or stand mixer, mix the cream cheese, 1 /4 c of granulated sugar, 1 egg, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla mixing until blended and smooth.

Pour the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie batter and spread it evenly. Then add dollops of the reserved brownie mixture over the cheesecake layer.
Glide a knife through the layers creating a swirl pattern.
Bake the brownies for approximately 30 minutes. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting.
Serve and enjoy!
