  • In a bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until well blended. 
  • Add vanilla flavoring and eggs and blend again. 
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt together, then gradually add it to the mixture until well blended. 
  • Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture. 
  • Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on parchment paper. 
  • Form the dough into a ball or oval. 
  • Cover the parchment paper with plastic wrap ensuring to seal the dough entirely. 
  • Refrigerate the dough overnight. 
  • When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Form and separate the dough into 2-3 tablespoon-sized balls. 
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. 
  • Place dough on parchment paper at 1-2 inches apart. 
  • Bake for 12 to 18 minutes or until cookies brown around the edges.  
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish the cooling process.
  • Once the cookies have completely cooled, they can be stored.
