Monkey Bread from Biscuits recipe

Monkey Bread from Biscuits is biscuit dough cut into small pieces coated in sugar and cinnamon. The dough is then covered in a caramel sauce and baked creating a delicious pull apart bread.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a ziplock bag and mix until blended.
  • Open biscuits and cut each individual piece into fours.
  • Toss the biscuit dough into the cinnamon sugar mix until well coated no more than four at a time. 
  • Place coated pieces into your bundt pan (the pan does not need to be greased). 
  • Make the caramel by first melting the butter for approximately 45 seconds.
  • Add the brown sugar and stir or whisk until combined. (If the mixture is not combining, heat for approximately 45 more seconds and stir until it combines.)
  • Pour the caramel evenly over the bread. Place the bread in the oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Start checking on the bread at the 25-minute mark. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 25 minutes before inverting. 
  • Serve and enjoy!
