Notes

  1. Cheese Options: Sharp cheddar adds a bold flavor, while American cheese melts beautifully for that classic cheeseburger taste; however, you can use your favorite cheese.
  2. Don’t Skip the Butter Topping: Brushing the rolls with melted butter before baking keeps them soft, adds flavor and assists with browning.
  3. Apply Sesame Seeds Immediately: Brush the butter, then sprinkle sesame seeds right away so they stick.
  4. Make Ahead: Assemble the sliders, cover, and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking; however, making them fresh is always best.
  5. Storage: Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  6. Reheating Tip: Wrap sliders in foil and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or until heated through.
