Brush some of the melted butter over the top of the bread in the casserole dish.
Add the cheddar cheese slices to the bottom layer of bread.
Then add the ham making sure to spread it evenly.
Next, add the Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
Then butter the inside of the top rolls with the butter mix.
Place the bread on top of the other layer and brush the top of the rolls with the leftover butter mixture.
Bake in the oven uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a serrated knife. (This keeps the rolls intact and prevents tearing.)
Layer cheese on the bottom half of the rolls. (The cheese acts as a barrier to prevent sogginess when the butter is added.)
Add slices of ham, then top with more cheese. (Double layers ensure gooey, melty sliders that hold together.)
To prevent sogginess, bake them uncovered in the oven. Also, do not soak the buns with butter, just brush the buns with butter.
